It seems that apart from running the world, Beyonce and Jay-Z are going “On the Run” once again. The power couple recently announced their upcoming joint tour. The so-called “royal couple” of hip-hop stated on Monday that they will be going on their second massive joint tour called “On the Run II”.
This will make stops in 15 big cities in Europe and 21 others in North America. It seems that the tour is set to kick off on June 6, in Cardiff, the United Kingdom.
The last time Bey and Jay-Z went on tour together, they made around $109 million. Also, their first “On the Run’ tour became the subject of an HBO concert special.
Since the 2014 tour, they both made some more money, but separately. Beyonce released her solo album Lemonade and her rapper husband released his album called 4:44. Both albums spoke a lot about their long-time relationship and the ups and downs they had to face, complete with betrayals and disappointments.
Beyonce and Jay-Z are Going on Tour Once Again
Beyonce broke the news about their upcoming joint tour on her official Instagram page. She shared three separate black and white promotional photos of her and Jay-Z riding a motorcycle that has a cattle skull as an accessory. A second photo showed us the couple from up close. The third showed an empty car with one of its door wide open.
Fans will be able to get a ticket for the tour starting March 19 on Live Nation. However, Tidal and official BeyHive members will get access five days earlier than everyone else.
Rumors had already been going around regarding a possible joint tour starring the two superstars. Beyonce has recently welcomed twins with her husband and is now getting ready for her comeback show which will take place at next month’s Coachella festival.
