Those who are still lagging behind when it comes to buying Christmas gifts for the upcoming holidays shouldn’t miss Free Shipping Day, which will take place on December 18.
All the online retailers that will take part in this new e-commerce shopping frenzy are presented on www.freeshippingday.com.
According to website administrators, so far 999 companies have posted offers which will be featured as part of Free Shipping Day.
Among the participants are instantly recognizable retailers such as Walmart, Belk, Target, ALDO, The Body Shop, JCPenney, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Forever 21, Saks Fifth Avenue, Clinique, Samsonite, H&M, Puma and Samsung.
Representatives of the site hosting all the offers specially created for this annual shopping event have stated that all of the merchants that have been included will either provide free shipping, or slash transportation prices considerably.
Even more importantly, the products purchased during Free Shipping Friday are guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas Eve, which means that they would make the perfect gift, right in time for the holidays.
Aside from these advantages, the fast approaching day also gives buyers the chance to save precious time and to avoid actually leaving their homes in order to stock up for Christmas.
Since a record number of buyers are expected to invade stores the following days, gift shopping is bound to turn into an extremely tedious and stressful experience, which can however be sidestepped thanks to e-commerce, especially if free delivery is involved.
The deals will be in effect starting from 12:01 a.m. EST on December 18, and will remain active up until 11:59 p.m.
