If they manage to have a polite attitude throughout their entire visit, the restaurant is offering their families a 5% discount. This experimental customer policy was the result of a recent event in the life of the owner.
Antonio Ferrari witnesses how a family of 11 enjoyed their wine time in the most harmonious manner possible. The adults were sipping from their glasses while the kids were all sensible and busy with coloring books, drawing pens, and markers. Even though there was a total of five children, the crowded table was a good example of social behavior. This scene took the owner by surprise. From his vast experience in the hospitality industry, he had rarely seen before such an inspiring role model of an Italian family.
As Antonio Ferrari wanted to show his appreciation for such a well-mannered family, he confessed that he acted instinctively. Thus, as a sign of admiration, he offered the family a discount of 5%. He admitted that he proceeded the same way as Miami restaurant used to do. However, this wasn’t a strategy in disguise, but came as a natural instinct.
Due to the delightful reaction of the family, Antonio decided to make this 5% discount a new customer benefit in his Italian restaurant. Since then, six months have passed, and there were only three cases that deserved it. The most recent case was two couples with six kids. All of them had been chatting for the entire course of their dinner, with no signs of bad behavior. The owner of the Italian restaurant confessed that he expected the group of six children to misbehave. Instead, they delighted the entire staff and won the 5% discount for good kids.
