The variety of platforms is getting more and more connected. As of recently, Microsoft offered a new way for people to enjoy their Xbox experience right from the comfort of their PCs. The secret is a small Xbox wireless adapter that can connect the computer to Xbox Wireless Controller. There appeared already a smaller version of the original which lost 66% of the size.
The New Xbox Wireless Adapter Can Support up to Eight Xbox Wireless Controllers
Global Product Marketing Manager for Xbox accessories, Bree White, wrote in a blog post more about the new stick. This time, the adapter was redesigned with the computer users in mind. The truth is that they need as much space as possible to plug in a slew of entertaining or necessary devices. With the smaller Xbox wireless adapter, people no longer have free yet unusable slots for USB devices.
The extra features the adapter comes with are a rendition of wireless stereo sound but also support for up to eight controllers at the same time for maximum co-op fun. The new product is available only for pre-order at a price of $24.99. Nonetheless, enthusiasts can expect to see their orders by the end of this month.
Microsoft Has Also Introduced Three New Controllers with Different Color Palettes
The company is offering for an upsale a bundle with a black Xbox Wireless Controller for $79.99. The original wireless adapter for Windows 10 has already received positive reviews. However, the only feature that dented its reputation was the size which was not user-friendly at all.
At the same time, the company introduced a little more diversity among its products as well. This week, Microsoft presented three new color choices for its Xbox Wireless Controller. These are ‘Patrol Tech Special Edition,’ ‘Volcano Shadow Special Edition,’ and ‘Green/ Grey.’ Enthusiasts can order them for $64.99.
