Teens Stole $13,000 Worth Of iPhones From Apple Store

Three iPhones

iPhones were stolen from an Apple Store.

Seven teenagers decided they don’t have to spend their money on iPhones and stole $13,000  products from the Apple Natick Collection Store. What is really surprising is that the teenagers spent only one minute in the store. Moreover, the phones were connected to security cables.

This is not the first time when iPhones are stolen from an Apple Store. On September 22, a similar event happened in another store. The police officers think that the incidents are related. The officials explained they have the video of the teens walking into the stores. They managed to stole 19 iPhones and they run as fast as they can.

Apple has already plans to make sure that this situation will not happen again. They want to remove the security cables in the stores and use a more efficient system. The geofencing systems will deactivate the phones if they are taken outside.

Of course, the security system will have a way to remove the phones for those who want to buy the devices. We are talking here about the situations where someone is trying to still the iPhones.

The biggest question is what the teens are going to do with the Apple phones. As we already knew, iPhones can be tracked if they are used. It will be just a matter of time before the company will find where its iPhones are.  Unfortunately, the police have not found the suspects and they are still searching for the thieves.

Apple is one of the biggest companies in the world, with millions of people using its products every year. However, their prices are sometimes too expensive for some people.  This is supposed to be the main reason why the teenagers stole the Apple devices.

The company has developed a special application, called Find my iPhone. Using the GPS system, this feature is able to tell where your Apple phone is, even if it was stolen. The app works only when the iPhone is used.

Moreover, the security will be improved for iPhone 8. The owners of the devices will use their fingerprints as the password for the phone. When someone else is using the device, the iPhone will take a photo of him and you will be able to see it on your iCloud.
