This model is definitely astounding but is terrifying too, for everyone. According to experts and scientists, the model is significant because it is the first such simulation to show so clearly the movement of carbon dioxide through the different parts of atmosphere.
The model gives scientists a scope to see seasonal differences as plumes of CO2 swirl and shift. The swings formed in concentrations are features on the northern and southern hemispheres as the growth cycle of plants and tress changes, due to change in the Earth’s CO2.
In this model, different areas like North America, China, and Europe, can be seen churning out thick swirls of CO2.
Scientists at NASA Goddard’s Global Modeling and Assimilation Office deserve credit for developing this model which has been developed using a computer model called GEOS-5. This model is definitely going to be the part of Earth’s changing environment and simulation.
It is a part of the simulation called a “Nature Run“, where researchers use real data processed after change in atmospheric conditions due to greenhouse gases and both natural and man-made particulates.
This model is then ran on its own simulate and showed the natural behaviour of the Earth’s atmosphere to everyone. The researchers were quite amused after seeing the results. Therefore, to give a life to trees and plants, there is a need to have a plenty of all the resources.
